Having recently thinking about|I have recently been considering} selling my house and as with a lot of subjects like this have been attempting to find out what the best way to make the house really attractive before we either sell our house or remain in it for a bit longer. I started by looking at various rooms in the house and thinking about what I might do to better them and remove any issues I might have had about them.

The heart of my house is the kitchen so I started their looking at the kitchen layout, our kitchen is a fitted kitchen which works quite well with a useful work triangle (luckily I talked to a local kitchen business about kitchen planning before purchasing). The floor was a bit of an issue with only lino down which had got a bit ripped up as I had moved washing machines and fridges about in it. I sought out some tiling advice from a local company to get the floor tiles that would blend in with the kitchen units ensuring that the room didn’t look to dark (just a few of the small things you need to consider when you come to sell your house, initial impressions are everything within the short time somebody has to view your house).

I then needed to make sure the bathroom looked good|The next room I wanted to ensure was up to scratch was the bathroom}, my bathroom layout was a bit small due to some fitted cupboards which once removed gave me masses more room (which if you are going on initial impressions could help sell my house). Once again I went down to the area tiler for some good tiling advice and went for big light tiles which appeared to open the space in the room, just one of the many things to be thinking about when buying bathroom tiles.

The other rooms I painted with a neutral light colour which seemed to draw the rooms out and new look|gave the whole house a fresh look}. I then stripped out as much stuff as I could and boxed everything that wasn’t necessary away in the garage. Finished result, a house that I wanted to stay in, but after just one or two viewings brought to me from an online property site I have got some serious interest, so fingers crossed ill be able to sell my house soon.
