You could also experience dizziness or light-headedness, which is caused by the major arteries being compressed by the growing uterus.
The pregnancy hormones tend to slow digestion, causing symptoms of constipation or heartburn. Drink water through your day and eat foods that are high in fiber to counteract these symptoms. Other possible pregnancy symptoms include headaches, nosebleeds, irritability, weight increase and mood swings, and these normally occur in the first trimester, settling down by 12 weeks.
