My parents raised four children and helped to raise seven grandchildren as well. When it was time for them to retire, we children decided to give them a cruise they remember forever. We pooled our money together and went to Travelocity coupons to purchase them tickets for a Pacific cruise. Raising us kids didn’t leave them much time to see the world outside our neighborhood and we wanted to give them a gift to show our love for all they had done. Only a Grand cruise around the world would fill our desire.

Ports of Call
Travelocity allowed us to buy a tour they would never have booked for themselves. They visited ports such as Hong Kong China, Syndey, Kenya and Singapore. In China they visited such attractions as Lantau Island and the Po Lin Monastery. They soaked up the atmosphere at Cheung Sha Beach. My grandparents felt like the world travelers as they basked on the beach.

In Mombasa they experienced quite an adventure when they explored Mombasa National Park and Reserve and went snorkeling at the Marine Reserve Area so they could see first-hand the delicate coral reefs that give the ocean life. You can access the marine park from the beaches of Shanzu, Bamburi and Nyali. We didn’t believe it ourselves until we saw the video they took during such an amazing feat.

When they arrived in Singapore they saw the Singapore Discovery Centre so that they could begin to understand the Singapore Experience. These are just three of the exotic ports of call they loved.

On The Ship
Gourmet dining, dancing, gambling, and a wide array of activities were ongoing on board in which they took part in. On days when they needed to chill for a bit from all the fun and excitement, they lounged around the pool and made new friends with whom they still keep in touch. The beauty of sunset upon the ocean is a sight that must be seen to be believed they told us.

If you are ready to set sail around the globe then check out Travelocity so that you can book your cruise and cruise the oceans of the world!
