Are you one of those that say “I want to lose weight?” The truth is, not everyone that thinks he needs to lose weight actually should. For some, losing weight is an obsession, whereas other really do need to. So where do you stand?
Are you obesed? If you are, then you belong to the category of those who should really lose weight. Most people think that being obese and being overweight are one and the same. You can be said to be obese when you are overweight by as much as thirty or forty pounds. If you find yourself in this shoe, then you really need to lose weight. Regretably, most obese people express concern over their state because of their appearance. The truth is that ones health and wellbeing is far more important that ones appearance. This is because, with obesity comes multiple health problems, heart failure being a prominent one. This often leads to death.
Are you clothes no longer fitting? Have they become really tight? If you answer yes, then you may have need to lose weight. Never overlook a rapid weight gain, even though sometimes you may experience some fluctuation in your weight during certain periods. Most people experience weight gain really fast. Small weight gain gradually becomes large, thus endangering your overall wellbeing. When this happens, begin making arrangement to join a fitness club or develop a daily or weekly exercise routine. Doing this would bring four or more benefits. For one thing, your appearance and self esteem would greatly improve. Secondly, you would actually lose weight. Thirdly, your overall health and wellbeing would improve in no small measure, and lastly you would get to save the cash you would have used to buy new clothes.
Have your friends recently commented on your weight? Since well-meaning friends would always your best interest at heart, they may have a point. Before taking that step, consider who is making the complain. Is the person really concerned about you overall well-being? Is he being reasonable? Is the recommendation from your doctor? That being the case, do not overlook their suggestion. Do not become embarrassed when you are told that you need to lose weight. Bear in mind that the person making the recommendation may really have your interest at heart. They are concerned not only about your appearance, but also about your health. So do not give them a deaf ear.
Have you recently noticed that you no longer carry out activities that once where easy with ease? This is a sign that you may need to being exercising to lose weight. While it is true that becoming out of breath from simple activities may not necessarily be a weight problem, there is a chance that it is. Just lose weight a little, and you would likely see a drastic change in your stamina.
There are many more signs that should you would need to lose weight. What I have provided here is just a tip of the iceberg. Caution must be applied when you are going into an exercise program. Before proceeding, it is wise that you consult your doctor so that you can make the best out of your weight loss program.
